Words cannot describe the pure rush of energy I feel when creating equine photo art! I'm a hopeless romantic and I get goose bumps knowing my equine photography will be passed down one day through the generations!
I have dedicated my life to portrait and equine photography. As a classically trained photographer, I was taught the art of photography on a medium format camera. One of my first jobs was working at a professional photo lab ~ before Photoshop existed. I was taught proper composition, lighting, color / density correction and my f- stops b
I have dedicated my life to portrait and equine photography. As a classically trained photographer, I was taught the art of photography on a medium format camera. One of my first jobs was working at a professional photo lab ~ before Photoshop existed. I was taught proper composition, lighting, color / density correction and my f- stops because there was no such thing as a "LCD screen" to preview and rely upon like digital cameras these days. I compose images the right way the first time, so there is virtually no need for editing. Basic touch up's are always included such as removing a blemish, stray hair or if my clients select a black and while or vintage handcrafted filter.
