It always seems like springtime in WI needs a little help to get rolling every year. Despite winter’s relentless efforts to stick around, it is a joyous time for light, new life and new beginnings. What better way to get even more into the spirit than a gorgeous spring day wedding! A perfect symbol for the joining of two individual lives merging into one – a new beginning, a new life.
On a sunny Saturday this April, friends and family joined together at at Saint Mary’s the Immaculate Catholic Church to witness Brittany and Jayson tie the knot. The weather was beautiful and spirits were high as guests began to arrive at the little countryside church in Greenville, WI. Tucked away safely from view, the bride and her girls busily attended to the last details of their ensembles. Meanwhile (despite one MIA groomsmen almost causing the entire group to be late) the guys gathered together outside for a few fun photos before getting serious and making their way inside for the ceremony.
Once everyone was accounted for – groomsmen and all – things started to happen. Grandparents and parents were seated and an anxious groom stood waiting patiently at the the front of the church, doing his best to seem in control of his racing pulse. The bridal party made their way to their seats couple by couple until finally the doors closed and everyone rose to their feet for the bride.
After a beautiful and traditional Catholic wedding mass the happy couple and their entourage boarded their party bus for some celebrating and fellowship. After a short drive we arrived at the Greenville Lion’s Park where everyone got off the bus for more spirits and a fun photo session. The girls were relieved to ditch their stiff high heels for a much more practical pair of rain boots – each with a different pattern to show their individual personalities.
The change in footwear was a good decision! Everyone had a blast running, jumping, playing ring-around-the-rosy and sharing champagne in the warm afternoon sun. To add to the excitement video footage captured the group from above using the latest fly over technology. How exciting! Not only will the photos and video we captured be timeless, it will also be some of the most unique wedding footage out there! After all, unless you’re a bird, it’s not exactly easy getting a bird’s eye view! Congrats J & B!
